Accessed by a 400 metre private drive, Au Haouré is a delightful five bedroomed house in a quiet and elevated position with pretty views over 13th century Monfort. This village is only a 2 minute drive away (or 15 minute walk) and has a restaurant, bar, boulangerie, general store and a tennis court.
Coming into the hallway, you'll walk through to a comfortably furnished, traditional Gascon living room with open fireplace, and on to a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. French windows from both rooms open onto a terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining, or simply sit in the shade of a tree and appreciate the beautiful views of the countryside.
At the back of the house is a spacious, recently renovated living room with mezzanine - futons on the mezzanine floor offer additional sleeping options for teenage guests if desired. There is also a separate w/c and a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower cubicle on the ground floor.
On the first floor are four good-sized double bedrooms (one with en-suite bath and shower room), one triple bedroom with three single beds, one large shower room and a separate w/c.
Outside, the large swimming pool with spacious terrace and shady seating area with fridge is positioned to make the most of far-reaching views. There is plenty of space here - children can run around to their hearts' content, play table tennis, or have fun on the wooden climbing frame.
Au Haouré is a lovely family property in a picturesque and secluded location, yet only a short drive from two attractive market towns where you will find all you need.
