DESCRIPTION

Le Piot is a three storey 1914 residence on a quiet river-side road near the market town of Fleurance - an ideal spot combining rural tranquility with easy access to the town's restaurants, markets and summer fetes.

Lovingly restored by the current owners, Le Piot provides comfortable accommodation for 8 people (with the option of an additional bedroom for 3 extra guests).

The main accommodation is spread over three floors. On the first floor is a stylish, light living room with French windows leading out to a large open terrace overlooking fields and the river Gers. Also on this floor, and with access to the terrace, is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which can also be made up as a twin. On the other side of the entrance hallway is a study and cloakroom.

Downstairs on the ground floor, with doors opening onto a pretty lower terrace and garden, are the dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. There is also a laundry room, and w/c on this level.

On the second floor are a further three very pleasant double bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms, and one with an en-suite bathroom. (Two of these doubles can be arranged as twins.)

In a quiet corner of the garden is the fifth bedroom - a large room with en-suite shower and a private little terrace. This can be taken as part of the house, making it an 11 person rental as this room sleeps three. Alternatively the house, which sleeps eight, can be rented on its own.

The owners of Le Piot live on-site, in a separate building. They are a discreet presence, but on-hand to help and advise you if required during your stay.

The house sits in an acre of garden, full of mature trees, overlooking fields and the river Gers. This lovely property is really the perfect place to appreciate rural Gascony, with the added convenience of being within walking distance of a traditional market town with all amenities.
