Gascony is becoming an increasingly popular destination for all sorts of Events, including Weddings. All the qualities of our area: climate, countryside, culture, history, architecture, food & drink, relaxed way of life, are just as desirable for these larger gatherings as for a family holiday.
​
And our longer Summer Season, which can stretch from April to October, provides more choice of dates for an outdoors Wedding or Event than for example in England. If you are looking for something a bit different for your Wedding, perhaps less formal than usual, Gascony may be just the right place for you!

Weddings & Events
Four of our properties are currently available to hire for weddings or larger events. These are:

The Village (sleeps 80)

Chateau de Poudenas (sleeps 40)

Chateau Puissentut (sleeps 26)

Chateau Pélat (sleeps 12)
Both The Village and Chateau de Poudenas have lovely old churches on their sites that are available by arrangement for 'visiting' weddings, should you want to include this element in your wedding. These properties are also highly suitable for large private parties and family celebrations.

The numbers stated above for sleeping capacity do not reflect the overall capacity of each individual property. For example, Chateau de Poudenas can comfortably seat up to 500 people for a conference or receive 200 for a wedding dinner. The Village can lay on a lunch or dinner for up 200 seated, inside or outside. Puissentut and Pélat are smaller but ideal for a seminar, training session, bonding weekend, or other form of retreat.

Simply Gascony does not get involved with the management of the actual event - each of these venues has its own professional team - but, as with our holiday rentals, we will help you with all the arrangements up to your arrival at the property.
