Featured Property
Serres
This truly stunning south-facing late 18th-century farmhouse boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the Pyrenees.
The elegant house has been sympathetically restored. Its rooms are comfortable and well-proportioned. A 12x6m swimming pool sits opposite the house, linked by old farm buildings to create a courtyard. Part of the farm buildings now form a very attractive shady outdoor sitting/eating area.

Slow Tourism in Gascony
‘Slow tourism’ is part of a wider trend towards sustainable tourism. It emphasises discovering the rich culture, history, and characteristics of Gascony. In addition to meaningful and authentic engagement, slow tourism promotes concern for the local environment and sustainability.
For centuries, Gascony has been well-known for its general sense of ‘bien-être’ - which is French for ‘well-being’. The Mediterranean climate is abundant in high-quality, naturally produced food, wine and fruit drinks. The pace of life is tranquil; people stop to talk to each other at the many local farmers’ markets. There are few cars and bicycling is a joy. A favourite pastime is sitting in a traditional street café in a market town enjoying a beer, coffee or a glass of rosé and watching the world go by. Gascony is the natural home of Slow Tourism!
