Puissentut is a beautiful property in the heart of rolling Gascon countryside. Within easy reach of a pretty village with boulangerie, post office and restaurant, and only 10 minutes' drive to the local market town - this is an ideal place to enjoy the gentle pace of life in rural France.

Very well and stylishly renovated, the main part of the house provides very comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to 20 guests; the separate Cottage (an old chapel) sleeps 4. Doors lead from a sheltered central courtyard into a large dining room. Adjoining this is a fully-equipped professional kitchen with access to the garden, and a secluded terrace.

Also in this part of the house is a large study with wood-burning stove and wi-fi internet access, and two separate w/cs. There are a six large double ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor, all accessible from the terraces and gardens. The ground floor of the house is generally wheel-chair accessible.

A sweeping staircase leads to the first floor and a light, airy living room/library (with WiFi, TV, DVD and music system). There are also four more en-suite double bedrooms on this level.

The original character of the stone buildings has been sensitively combined with modern decor and furnishings to create very comfortable, stylish accommodation. Several of the bedrooms can be arranged as doubles or twins, offering added flexibility for large groups.

The well-planted and attractive flower and vegetable gardens at Puissentut have lovely views across the valley. With a swimming pool (10mx4m), and plenty of space for children to run around, this is the perfect place to relax in the heart of Gascony. And to help you make the most of your stay, the owners (who live in a separate part of the house) are on-hand to advise and assist you if required.
